Please utilize the following information to help you budget for your personal expenses in Texas.

Personal Budget

While most expenses are covered in your Texas Tour, we recommend setting aside a personal budget for items not included in the cost of your tour. This might include souvenirs, additional drinks, extra activities, or personal purchases along the way. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in Texas, though small-town shops, local artisans, or roadside stands may prefer cash—so it’s smart to keep some on hand for convenience.

Remember, you will not need to budget for anything listed in the “Included” section of your specific tour description, nor for the transportation to those experiences. Your personal budget will simply cover the items not included. How much you bring will depend on your own spending habits, but rest assured that budgeting in advance will make your trip smoother and more enjoyable.

International Flight

Travelers flying into Texas from international destinations will typically arrive at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston (IAH), and depart from DFW, IAH or Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). Round-trip flight prices will vary depending on your departure region and season, but average fares are as follows:

From Central America / Caribbean: $300–$500 USD roundtrip
From South America: $500–$800 USD roundtrip
From Asia: $850–$1,200 USD roundtrip

These are approximate prices based on recent averages, but we always recommend booking early to secure the best rates.

Visa

Not all citizens of foreign countries are required to obtain a visa before entering Texas (United States of America), but please be advised that you might require a visa for entry.
