Yes! US citizens can legally travel on this tour under the authorized Support for the Cuban People category. Gardner Tours handles all legal paperwork, itinerary compliance, and 24/7 emergency support. Cuba is one of the safest travel destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America! Violent crime is extremely rare. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in Cuba, everything Gardner Tours does revolves around deeply trusted local relationships. As our guest, you are accompanied by a dedicated guide and private driver from arrival to departure, ensuring complete safety, authentic cultural connections, and total peace of mind throughout your journey.
Absolutely! Having hosted travelers from over 25 countries, we welcome guests from all over the world who want an immersive, unhurried holiday in Cuba. Non-U.S. citizens can travel freely using a standard international tourist visa without worrying about U.S. regulations. Our private drivers, boutique stays, and dedicated hosts ensure a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
Havana is the perfect long weekend getaway! Packed into just a few days, your group will experience classic 1950s car rides, guided Old Havana walking tours, rooftop dining, live jazz and music venues, and beach excursions—giving you a complete Cuban experience without needing a full week off.
While Havana offers warm tropical weather year-round, the most popular months for a weekend trip are during the dry winter and spring seasons (November through April) when temperatures are mild, humidity is low, and outdoor rooftop dining and classic car tours are at their finest.
Every trip we host is 100% private and built around your group. You won’t be shuffled around in a large group with strangers—instead, you’ll travel alongside your own dedicated guide and host (often Colby Gardner himself!). This gives you complete freedom to enjoy an unhurried, personal journey tailored to your timetable.
We host groups in hand-selected private residences (BnBs) or boutique luxury stays in Old Havana. All local transportation is pre-arranged in private, air-conditioned vehicles with dedicated drivers.
U.S. credit and debit cards do not work in Cuba due to U.S. banking regulations. However, because your tour is all-inclusive (covering private lodging, ground transport, guided tours, breakfasts, and dinners), you only need cash for personal souvenirs, extra drinks, or tips. We recommend bringing crisp U.S. Dollars (USD) or Euros (EUR), and your guide will assist you with currency logistics upon arrival. If you let us know in advance how much cash you'd like to exchange, your guide can often have that local currency ready for you the moment you arrive!
Absolutely! While this tour offers a complete Havana weekend experience, every detail can be customized to your preferences, such as adding extra nights, booking private fishing charters, or incorporating fine dining upgrades.
